Jumping in!

Have you ever stood at the side of a body of water and hesitated to jump in! Yes I have and if the water is not warm enough it makes me cringe. When I was young I was always running at full speed and I thought jumping in was the only way to get wet. Now that I am older I want to test the water and makes sure it's not too cold. Why is it that while you are young you are not afraid but then as an adult it makes it harder to "jump" in!

So.....Here I go I am jumping in and even though I don't know all the cool things about all the features of a blog I will learn them....

So here goes my imperfect blog :)

Welcome to the world of blogging!

Hello Family and Friends :)

I finally started my own blog! I am so excited. My children call me the Project girl! I know they just LOVE to hear about the ideas cookin' around in my head. NOT!!! Ok one of them does she shares in my creative process. I actually have a degree in fashion and costume design. I have taught sewing lessons and sewn for others since I was 14. I guess you can say that I was born with a needle in my hand. I also love to decorate, and sometimes cook. You may just see a sampling of a lot of things on here. I welcome any questions you may have about a sewing project, etc. Oh and one last thing, my nickname is "Smiles" so I hope to bring some smiles to the world through this blog.
